Onbode asks for one thing about you: an email address, so you can sign in. There is no password. We send you a six-digit code, you type it in, and you stay signed in on that phone until you sign out.
That address exists so your work survives your phone. Everything you enter is kept as a copy against your account, which means a lost, stolen or replaced phone does not cost you months of lists. That is the whole reason we ask.
There is one other copy, and it only exists if you ask for it: stock checks. When you share a property so that whoever looks after it can correct the numbers, that property's supply list is copied to a server so their browser can read it. They need no account and no app of their own.
We do not sell anything to anybody, and we do not share your data with anyone beyond the infrastructure providers named below.
On your phone, first and always. The app works from the copy on your device, so it keeps working with no signal.
And as one copy against your account, on servers operated by Supabase, so it can be restored. It is readable only by somebody signed in as you: the database refuses any request for anybody else's copy, and we have no way to hand your data to another account.
Deleting it. Settings → your copy → Delete my copy and account removes the account and the copy together, permanently, from inside the app. You do not have to ask us and you do not have to wait.
When you tap Make a link on a property, we store one record containing:
Nothing else. Not your other properties, not your bookings, not your spending, not your Amazon links, not the delivery address, and not your caretaker's name — the link carries a random token and nothing more.
Who can see it. Anybody holding the link. There is no password on it, which is the whole reason a cleaner or caretaker will use it. Treat it like a door key.
Where it is. On servers operated by Supabase, in the United States. The page itself is served by Vercel. Both act only as our infrastructure providers.
How long. Until you delete it, or until 180 days pass with nobody touching it, whichever comes first. Then it is deleted automatically.
How to delete it now. Open the property, go to Settings, tap your caretaker's name, and tap Stop sharing. The record is deleted and the link stops working immediately. Replace the link does the same and issues a new one.
Your booking calendar. If you paste a calendar link from Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com, your phone fetches that calendar directly from them. The request goes from your device to their servers, never through us, and we never see the link or the bookings.
Amazon. If you choose to fill a basket, the app opens Amazon with the items pre-filled. What happens after that is between you and Amazon under their policies. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you, and we receive no personal information from Amazon in return.
Anything you send. When you share a stock check or a shopping list as a message, the app hands it to your phone's own share sheet and you choose where it goes. We are not involved in sending it and keep no copy.
Scheduled by your own phone from data already on it. Nothing is sent from a server, and we are not told whether you received or opened one.
None. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking technologies, no third-party software development kits that collect data, and no device identifiers.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms. We never see your card details, your billing address or your name.
Onbode is a tool for people letting property and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age.

If you would rather we did any of it, write to us at the address at the top. For a stock check you will need to send us the link, because without it we have no way to find that record or to know it is yours.
If what we store ever changes, this page will be updated and the change described here before that version of the app is released.
